After Russia, France and California, Spain is the partner country of BITKOM and CeBIT in 2010. This Partnership is prove of the strong economic ties between these two countries which are amongst the leading high-technology markets worldwide.
The signature of the memorandum of Understanding between BITKOM and AETIC, the Spanish ICT association and strategic partner of BITKOM, on October 7, 2009 in Madrid was the official kick off for the partner country activities.

The agenda for the partner year 2010 includes apart from the German-Spanish ICT-Summit on March 2, 2010 and several workshops during CeBIT 2010 also a number of events as well in Spain as in Germany. The initiative is expected to give a boost to ICT cooperation between companies of both countries.
At the German-Spanish ICT-Summit, BITKOM and its partners will present a study, summarizing the main findings of a survey on German-Spanish ICT cooperation.
